About Clear Vision

Blending technology with dedication to patient welfare

In short

Clear Vision Eye Hospital provides expert diagnosis and treatment for all types of eye conditions, with specialised care in cataract surgery and laser vision correction. We serve patients across Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Surat and Bhavnagar using modern technology and experienced ophthalmologists. Our focus is to deliver safe, personalised and high-quality eye care for every patient.

What began as a single clinic in 2002 is now a network of 20 branches and one of Gujarat's busiest ophthalmic services. That scale matters for one reason only: it means a Clear Vision surgeon has almost certainly treated an eye like yours before, and that the operating theatre nearest your home has the same equipment, the same protocols and the same standard of care as every other.

  • One standard everywhere. Identical protocols and equipment at all 20 branches.
  • Written estimates. You see the full cost, and what your insurance covers, before you decide.
  • Day-care surgery. Most cataract and laser patients are home the same day.

Why ClearVision

Three promises we make to every patient

Latest technology, cashless facilities and personalised care — the same three commitments at every one of our 20 branches.

Latest Technology

German Zeiss operating microscopes, blade-free phacoemulsification and topography-guided lasers. Equipment is not a luxury in ophthalmology — a 1.8 mm incision heals faster than a 3 mm one, and that difference is the machine.

Cashless Facilities

Empanelled with over 30 insurance companies and TPAs. Our insurance desk files the pre-authorisation, follows it up and settles directly with your insurer, so you are not the one chasing paperwork on the day of surgery.

Personalised Care

No two eyes are the same, and no two lives are either. The lens we recommend depends on whether you drive at night, sew, read Gujarati scripture or work at a screen all day — so we ask before we advise.

Transparent pricing

A written estimate before you decide. No revision on the day of surgery.

Painless procedures

Anaesthetic drops instead of injections for routine cataract and laser work.

Same-day discharge

Walk in, have surgery, and sleep in your own bed the same night.

Patient experiences

In their own words

I had put off my cataract operation for two years because I was afraid of the injection. There was no injection — only drops. I was home by lunch and reading the newspaper the next morning.

Fifteen years of spectacles, gone in one afternoon. The counsellor explained exactly why Contoura suited my cornea instead of standard LASIK, and the price never changed from the estimate.

Questions patients actually ask

Answers, before you call

Is Clear Vision Eye Hospital the largest eye hospital network in Gujarat?

Yes. Clear Vision Eye Hospital operates more branches within Gujarat than any other eye hospital20 branches across Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Surat and Bhavnagar, compared with the single-digit or low-double-digit Gujarat presence of other eye care chains. That scale means the same equipment, the same blade-free surgical protocols and the same 30+ insurer network at every location, and a branch close enough to home that follow-up visits never mean crossing the city.

How much does cataract surgery cost at Clear Vision Eye Hospital?

Cataract surgery at Clear Vision Eye Hospital starts from ₹6,000. The final cost depends on the intraocular lens (IOL) you choose — monofocal, toric, multifocal or trifocal — rather than on the surgery itself. Every price is explained in writing before you decide, and the procedure is covered cashless under 30+ insurance and TPA partners, which for most insured patients brings the out-of-pocket amount close to zero.

Is cataract surgery painful, and how long does it take?

No. Cataract surgery is performed under anaesthetic eye drops, so you stay awake but feel no pain. The blade-free Cold Phaco MICS procedure uses a 1.8 mm incision that needs no stitches and no injection. The surgery itself takes about 10 to 15 minutes per eye, and you go home the same day.

Am I a suitable candidate for LASIK or Contoura Vision?

You are generally suitable if:

  • You are 18 or older
  • Your spectacle number has been stable for at least 12 months
  • Your corneal thickness is adequate
  • You have no active eye infection, advanced keratoconus or uncontrolled dry eye

The only way to be certain is a laser vision correction workup, which maps your cornea and takes about 90 minutes at any Clear Vision branch.

Does Clear Vision Eye Hospital offer cashless eye surgery?

Yes. Clear Vision Eye Hospital is empanelled with more than 30 insurance companies and TPAs, including Bajaj Allianz, HDFC Ergo, ICICI Lombard, Care Health, Star Health, Niva Bupa, Mediassist, Vidal Health, Heritage and United Healthcare. Bring your health card and photo ID, and the hospital's insurance desk files the pre-authorisation for you at no charge.

How soon can I return to work after eye surgery?

After blade-free cataract surgery most patients read comfortably within 24 to 48 hours and return to desk work in 2 to 3 days. After LASIK or Contoura Vision, useful vision returns within a day and most people are back at work in 24 to 48 hours. Heavy lifting, swimming and dusty environments should be avoided for two to four weeks in both cases.

Which Clear Vision Eye Hospital branch is nearest to me?

Clear Vision Eye Hospital has 20 branches: fifteen across Ahmedabad (Paldi-Bhatta, Anjali BRTS, Maninagar, Ghodasar, Vastral, Satellite, Naranpura, Sabarmati, Bopal, Shela, Vejalpur, Shahibaug, Naroda, Narol and Chandlodia), one in Gandhinagar, one in Surat and three in Bhavnagar. Every branch runs the same consultation hours, Monday to Saturday, 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM and 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM.

How often should an adult have an eye check-up?

Every adult should have a complete eye examination once every two years, and once a year after the age of 40. If you have diabetes, high blood pressure, a family history of glaucoma, or you wear contact lenses, an annual dilated retinal examination is essential — diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma both cause irreversible damage before you notice any change in vision.
